Well, I am sure when you got home you had quite a few emotions from the meeting… “Wow, that was refreshing!” or ” I am so encouraged and ready to move forward for His glory!” or ” Now what did R3 mean again?”

I personally was ecstatic after that initial meeting. It was a joy to see so many from the body of Christ come together with the singular goal of finding out how we could touch our communities and ultimately our world for Jesus Christ.  I am convinced that God has us in the beginning stages of something revolutionary. The foundation of R3 has the potential to lead us into a realm that few have ever known. After all, there are many in ministry who are concerned about advancing themselves, not the kingdom of God. But with these three basic concepts – Relationship, Resources and Revival, we can come together to change a world for His glory! I am excited. I trust that you are too. Let’s keep in touch with one another … and continue to establish relationship… this is the first step!

I just returned from Moldova. You are probably asking yourself right now, “Where is that?” I certainly was, when asked to go on this trip. I had heard about this, through The Rock, but was able to go see first hand, what all the fuss was about! Philip Cameron, who is from Scotland, and based in Alabama, has 3 girls’ homes in Moldova (located next to the Ukraine, in Europe). He has been rescuing young orphan girls from the threats of having a life of prostitution. The homes, known as Stella’s Homes, are there to provide a safe environment, teach them about Jesus Christ, heal their wounds, and prepare them for a bright future, complete with skills and a true family in Christ.

I travelled with David and Deborra Byrd. We went to attend the dedication of Stella’s Home II. When we walked in, the first thing that struck a chord was the level of excellence that we experienced. It is true, God’s people do not have to settle for second best. These young girls are in a home that no one would be ashamed to live in. When you hear the stories of where they came from, you know they deserve it! Secondly, the spiritual emphasis on God and family permeates the home in every way. These girls know that despite the horrors they went through in the past, they are loved and cherised and safe. It is a warm sight to see. Thirdly, you can feel the hope in the air. The promise for tomorrow is alive all around these girls. They know they have a future and they know it is in Christ. What an unbelievable experience!

Stay tuned for more info on Moldova. We are interested in possibly organizing an R3 trip to Moldova, in order to network many ministries with this great work. After all, there are more homes to be built and many more to be saved!
